RS200 is a high performance bike and is very refined. It is said to be the fastest bike of Bajaj, but how can you figure out that the fastest pulsar ever can be pleasant, but it is. It is a highly refined Pulsar ever ridden with NVH levels really low enough.
This bike is made on the same platform as its ancestor, 200NS. RS200 is just a heart transplant of 200NS, getting the power from the same 199.5 cc, liquid cooled, and triple spark engine coupled with a 6 speed gearbox. It has got a fuel injection system and can churn out a power output of a 24.5 bhp at 9750 rpm with a maximum torque of 18.6 Nm at 8000 rpm. To compensate for the added weight due to the fairing on the bike, its ABS variant is available along with projector lamp which was first introduced in Pulsar 220F and is now available in this bike having dual projector.
Other than putting some more meat on the bones of 200NS, Bajaj has made some good alterations in this bike like the centre of gravity and shorten the wheel base. This change has given some nice results as the bike is now capable of taking quick succession of corners. Other than this, RS200 comes with good stopping power through its single rotor 300 mm front disc brake and 230 mm rear disc brake paired with MRF Zapper rubber lend.
