Hero Passion xPro is the first ever 110 cc bike from Hero Motorcorp.

Not only is this new entrant of Hero Motocorp the first ever 110cc bike, it is named also after Hero’s favourite bike, Passion. Hero Passion xPro with all its variants is set to give a run for money to its rivals.

The Look:

Although the bike is styled after regular Passion, it is more aggressive to look at. The additional length and width of this bike clearly stands out. The new features incorporated include a trapezoidal headlamp, a sharply defined cowl, clear lens indicators, body coloured rear view mirrors, new graphics on both sides of the bike. The fuel tank flaunts new tank extensions with new graphics and xPro emblazoned on it. The silencer has a new chrome shield covering. The rear fender is wider, though there are no changes in the tail light.

The Console:

There are no changes in the instrument console from that of regular Passion. It features an analogue speedometer and digital fuel gauge, odometer and trip meter. It also has other standard indicators.

The Performance:

The mono-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, OHC, 110cc engine, also seen in Honda’s Twister and Dream Yuga, gives a power output of 8.5 BHP at 7500 rpm and a torque output of 9.36 Nm at 5500 rpm. It has a 4-speed manual gearbox with all gears up-shift pattern. The increased torque and power output makes the bike quite responsive and nimble than others. It can attain a speed from 0 to 60 kmph within seven to eight seconds. On highways, the bike manages to achieve a top speed of 95 kmph.

The Ride:

The Ride and Handling is smooth, especially in city traffic, what with its effective suspension and braking system. The extended wheelbase of 1265mm, the best in its class, provides extra stability and feels more comfortable around corners. The bike remains grounded on highways, even when speeding.

The Consumption:

The bike gives a mileage of 86 kmpl in the city and more on highways.

The Comfort and Safety:

The bike is comfortable to drive due to its extra width and length. A comfortable seat and conveniently placed foot pegs provide a relaxed riding position. The knees grip the fuel tank easily and the handlebar is also within easy reach. An optional front disc brake of 240mm and drum brakes of 130mm on both wheels are standard in its braking system.

The Variants:

Five variants: Drum Kick Spoke, Drum Self Spoke, Drum Kick Alloy, Drum Self Alloy and Disc Self Alloy.

The Colours:

Eight eye-catching shades: Black with frost blue, Black with heavy grey, Black with sports red, Electric yellow metallic, Force silver metallic, Leaf green metallic, Sports red and Vibrant blue metallic.
