The Chinese topmost smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch its Mi 5 smartphone in India on Thursday. The same company had earlier launched Redmi Note 3 this month in India. However, it has upkeeped its promise of launching the new Xiaomi Mi 5.

The president of the Company had told in the conference to the press that the price of the smartphone will be under Rs. 27000. However, the confirmed price will be declared on Thursday only.

Recently, this smartphone was also launched in China and more than 18 million people registers for the device. It comes in three variants i.e. 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.  It is backed up by the 3000 mAh power battery which is non-detachable. Xiaomi Mi 5also supports the faster charging in few minutes

The display screen of this smartphone is of 5.15 inches with a full high-definition (HD) resolution. It has a 3-Dimensional ceramic cut-glass with a metallic border. It also weighs around 139 grams that give the smartphone a graceful and lean look. The phone safeguards the personal data of the user with a finger impression scanner implanted on the home key. Besides from this feature, it also possesses sensors such as Accelerometer, Compass, IR Gesture as well as Proximity sensor.

Since this smartphone have 2.2GHz + 1.5 GHz dual core processor, it works best for playing heavy games and for doing multitasking jobs. The device is driven by the newest version of the Android i.e. Marshmallow. The phone has a 16 mega pixels camera at the back which owns an autofocus feature.
