Balachander noticed him and he asked him to learn the Tamil Language. In 1975 Rajinikanth made his debut in Apporva Raagangal and the movie was nominated for three national film awards. Rajinikanth was also critically acclaimed and people noticed his skills and caliber. Since, then Rajinikanth never looked back. Though there was a lot of struggle in his successful journey, but no successful story is complete without struggles. Rajinikanth has also appeared in few Bollywood movies like Hum, which was released in the year 1991 and Aatank hi Aatank. He has also acted in a lot of regional Indian cinema and has acted in few foreign movies as well.
