The engine is paired with a 5 speed gearbox and comes with Keihin electronic fuel injection system. Desert Storm can reach a speed of 60 kph in just four seconds.

The suspension system of the bike consists of an archaic, tubular, bush mounted swing arm at the rear side and a 130 mm travel- telescopic fork at the front. The front tyre has a size of 19 inches while the back comprises of 120/80 section tyre which is sized at 18 inches.
