Teachers are often underrated and not given enough credit for what they do. They play an important role in our lives and in order for you to make them feel special on Teachers day, there are a number of things you can do. Schools and colleges celebrate the occasion and they often ask a student to come up and read out a speech for the teachers. If you’ve been asked to do this, but you don’t know what to say, here’s a perfect teachers day speech that will help you out.
Good morning everyone. Today is the 5th of September and on this day each year we celebrate Teachers day. We often forget to thank our teachers for all the efforts they put in each day to ensure we are molded into the right personalities and we learn to follow our dreams. Today, on behalf of all the students I would like to thank each teacher present here for all they do in order to make our lives more fruitful. We all get rewarded for the good things we do and the achievements that we receive when we do, however our teachers only get rewarded after many years when they see their students succeed. As a student we make a promise this day to make all the teachers proud to have taught us.
Apart from parents, we students spend most of our time under the wings of our teachers and what they teach us becomes a part of us, it becomes who we are and how we grow. Our parents have 2 or maybe 3 children to take care of, but you teachers have to take care of an entire classroom and ensure each student in the classroom is doing well. It is a huge responsibility and all you teachers do it so well.
I never miss my parents when I am in school, because I have my teachers who look after me, love me, care for me, help me learn and even shout at me when I do something wrong. The motivation you’ll give us in order to move forward is constant and very supportive. We are proud to had the pleasure to be taught by you’ll. While there are a number of careers out there that might make a difference, it is the career of a teacher that helps shape the future. We are thankful to have you in our lives and on this special occasion of Teachers day, we promise to make you proud.
