Sudhir is an Indian actor. He is notable for several legendary roles that he has portrayed on television.
Sudhir was born in Thane, Maharashtra. His mother is the Late Smt. Induprabha Dalvi and his father is Late Shri. Prabhakar Dalvi. He completed his Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and worked for a number of years with some well-known architects before moving into the entertainment domain. He joined the Saibaba fold in 1977. He is married to Suhas and has a son named Rohit.
He lives with his wife and son at his Mumbai residence.
Sudhir is a great Shirdi Saibaba devotee. His claim to fame was the portrayal of Guru Vashishta in Ramanand Sagar’s popular series Ramayan. He, however, gained fame all across the world because of the marvellous depiction of Shirdi Saibaba in the Hindi movie Shirdi ke Saibaba that was directed by Manoj Kumar Goswami. He has been a part of a number of theater groups between the years 1962 and 1969 like Theater Unit and Indian People’s Theater Association.
His first movie was in 1972 and he began working regularly in films from 1976 onwards. The name of his first film was 27 Down Kashi Express. He has been a part of more than 50 television shows in different languages like Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and Bhojpuri that have been telecast on popular television channels. He has even been a part of four telefilms. Apart from this, he has worked for many ad films in order to showcase different products.
