Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai is a comedy TV series that is inspired by the 1995 hit Hindi serial Shriman Shrimati. The show is set in Kanpur and revolves around two couples that live next to each other. Manmohan Tiwari is a successful businessman and his wife Angoori is a simple housewife. Their neighbor is Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, who is an unsuccessful and unemployed insurance policy agent. He is often called “Nalle ji”, who spends his time doing household chores. His wife Anita is a headstrong, modern and smart lady who has also been crowned as a beauty queen. She is the breadwinner of the family, and her husband’s unemployment and laziness irritates her at all times. As the men devise schemes to impress each other’s wives, they pull each other down and create problematic and funny situations.

At the audition, Manvi and Rahul are about to meet, but she is scared that Rahul might recognize her as the girl who blinded him. Later Rahul and Manvi get married.
